"The field of educational psychology can be invaluable to many professions that inherently include teaching components: medicine, nursing, sales, human resources, and (of course!) parenting.

Welcome Message from Division 15
Welcome to the American Psychology Association’s Division 15 – Educational Psychology website. The Executive Committee of the Division has worked hard to ensure that members and others seeking information about the Division have an easily accessible and informative portal. The website contains information about the past, present, and future of the Division of Educational Psychology. It is our expectation that the website will provide access to most, if not all of the information individuals generally seek. We are often asked questions about the field of Educational Psychology, and our response has always been – "that information should be on our website." Now the website is the repository for the needed information about the Division and field. We have spent substantial time considering the needs of our end users and we have considered the kinds of information interested parties might want, but we are always open to suggestions. The site can be customized to our needs, so if you have questions or concerns that the website currently does not address or if you have suggestions for added content, please let us know. The website and the Division’s Executive Committee are here to provide assistance to the membership. (Ellen Mandinach, Division 15 Past-President)
What You’ll Find
The division of Educational Psychology seeks to expand psychological knowledge and theory relevant to education through the scholarly and scientific study of educational processes, and to extend its application to professionals in education, psychology, and other training professions. We also promote cooperation and joint action between colleagues in other divisions of APA and with organizations having similar purposes. This website displays information about Division 15 publications, awards, meetings, and seminars related. This resource also contains information regarding the internal structure of Division 15, including leadership, policies and procedures, bylaws, and division history.
