Ellen Mandinach
Division 15 Past President
CNA Education

"Educational psychology combines our scientific knowledge of how learners gain knowledge based on their psychological profile of cognitive and affective aptitudes and enables instruction to be customized and differentiated to address those specific needs. The discipline is an unique combination of subdisciplines which help us to better understand the educational process from the perspectives of teaching and learning. It is an exciting field in which psychologists can have a real impact on practice through the application of their research. "

Welcome Message from Division 15

president
Welcome to the American Psychology Association’s Division 15 – Educational Psychology website. The website contains information about the past, present, and future of the Division of Educational Psychology. It is our expectation that the website will provide access to most, if not all of the information individuals generally seek. As such, this website displays information about Division 15 publications, awards, meetings, and related seminars. This resource also contains information regarding the internal structure of Division 15, including leadership, policies and procedures, bylaws, and division history.
The Executive Committee of the Division continues to work hard to ensure that members and others seeking information about the Division have an easily accessible and informative portal. Therefore, if you have questions or concerns that the website currently does not address or if you have suggestions for added content, please let us know. The website and the Division’s Executive Committee are here to provide assistance to the membership. (Paul Schutz, Division 15 President)
